About
Dormant after 2014 and revived in 2023, Ghent's Akem Manah return with Threnodies (2026), ten dirges of Lovecraftian dread where downtuned riffs and synth layers meet vocals sliding from gothic clean to harsh. The cinematic horror framing sets them apart from doom's usual cavernous misery, and they let it unfold over an hour.
