About
Emerging from the Pacific Northwest black metal underground, Alda trade nihilism for a deep sense of place, using long, windswept compositions and rustic folk undercurrents to evoke forests, mountains and distance. A Distant Fire and Tahoma weave raw black metal intensity into richly atmospheric songwriting, creating music that feels contemplative and untamed rather than merely aggressive.
