Arka'n Asrafokor

About

Arka'n Asrafokor fuse progressive metal, groove-heavy riffing and modern production with traditional West African rhythms, languages and spiritual themes, creating a sound that feels rooted in Togo rather than merely decorated with world-music elements. Dzikkuh captures the band's greatest strength: the ability to move between crushing metal passages, tribal percussion, melodic singing and cultural storytelling without reducing any of those elements to a novelty.
