About
Avrak is the band where Darkthrone's Ted Skjellum steps back from the microphone, playing guitar beside co-founder and lead singer Anders Hegna in a Porsgrunn outfit built on a shared love of old classic rock and metal. Grounded in a classic heavy metal and doom rock backbone, with synth passages and only faint traces of the black metal that made Skjellum's name, it is a band chasing hooks rather than frost.
