About
Battlecross arrived during a period when many young thrash bands were either chasing retro authenticity or modern metal trends, carving out their own lane by welding relentless thrash riffing to melodic death metal leads and the ferocious roar of Kyle Gunther. War of Will remains their defining statement, a record packed with galloping rhythms, harmonized guitar work and enough extreme metal aggression to appeal as much to death metal fans as to traditional thrash audiences.
