About
Cloven Hoof remain one of NWOBHM's more theatrical survivors, pairing muscular riffs and twin-guitar melody with epic songwriting and high-register vocals. Never a Prophet in Your Own Land finds the veterans sounding purposeful rather than nostalgic, with Harry Conklin adding a commanding new dimension to their long-running heavy-metal identity.
