About
Diamond Head is one of heavy metal's true cornerstone bands, helping define the New Wave of British Heavy Metal while laying much of the groundwork for the thrash metal revolution that followed. Brian Tatler's legendary riffs directly inspired artists ranging from Metallica to Megadeth, cementing the band's place among the genre's most influential pioneers. Despite never achieving the commercial success of some of their peers, Diamond Head has maintained remarkable consistency across multiple decades, continually delivering authentic British heavy metal rooted in exceptional songwriting. Their legacy is measured not only by classic albums but by the countless bands whose sound traces directly back to the timeless power of Diamond Head's riffs.
