Visby, Sweden
About
Grave came out of Visby on Gotland rather than the Stockholm suburbs that produced most of the scene, and on the early records they played it slower and thicker than anyone around them, Jörgen Sandström's growl low in the murk. In 2025 the four men who started the band reconvened for the first time in over thirty years to play the first three albums, the version of Grave most people mean.
