About

In the Woods... have built one of the most adventurous catalogues in Norwegian metal, evolving from atmospheric progressive black metal into a deeply expressive blend of progressive, gothic and doom-infused music. Their songs balance tremolo-picked riffs, melancholic melodies, lush keyboards, clean and harsh vocals, and unpredictable song structures, creating a cinematic, introspective atmosphere where aggression and beauty coexist. Across their career, they have consistently embraced experimentation, incorporating elements of psychedelic rock, dark progressive rock, and melodic death metal without ever losing their unmistakable identity.
