About
Dismissed by some as a joke band — beer, gore movies, songs that end before the two-minute mark — Municipal Waste have outlasted most of the acts that took themselves seriously, welding Tony Foresta's hoarse bark to riffs pitched somewhere between a basement show and Bay Area thrash. The Art of Partying (2007) set the template, and the pace has not slackened since.
