About
Austin Lunn's one-man project has become one of the defining voices of modern American black metal by fusing furious rasped vocals and tremolo-driven intensity with Appalachian folk, bluegrass instrumentation and a strong sense of place. Kentucky and The Scars of Man on the Once Nameless Wilderness reveal a songwriter more interested in history, labor and landscape than genre orthodoxy, giving Panopticon a singular emotional weight.
