Saor

About

Although filed under black metal, Saor's real strength lies in how Andy Marshall weaves Scottish folk melodies, expansive atmospheres and long-form songwriting into music that feels closer to a journey through landscape than a conventional metal record. Caledonia and Forgotten Paths balance rasped vocals with soaring instrumentation and Celtic flourishes, creating an epic, windswept sound that remains grounded in emotion rather than aggression.
