About
Stryper blend sharp-edged heavy metal riffing with bright, harmony-rich vocals and the polished sheen of 1980s hard rock, anchored by Michael Sweet’s soaring delivery. Albums like To Hell with the Devil (1986) show how their mix of melodic flash and metallic bite carved out a distinct place within the era’s louder, brasher landscape.
