About
Týr blend Faroese folk traditions and Nordic melodies with progressive, power and Viking metal, favouring intricate guitar work and commanding clean vocals over extreme-metal aggression. Their music is epic and highly melodic, rooted in ancient balladry and mythology while retaining a technically polished, distinctly Faroese identity.
