Tor-Helge “Cernunnus” Skei is a Norwegian multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer from Trondheim, best known as the founder and creative force behind Manes. He originally formed Manes in the early 1990s with vocalist Sargatanas, handling guitars, keyboards, and programming; the project initially explored cold, atmospheric black metal before evolving into increasingly experimental territory incorporating progressive rock, electronica, trip-hop, and other influences.
Skei has also been involved in projects including Lethe, Høstsol, and the Trondheim-based black metal project Diabolus, Mecum Semperterne!, continuing his long-standing reputation for experimentation and genre-defying music.
