Heavyguide.no does not track, profile, or share personal data with third parties.
The only personal information we store is what you provide voluntarily when
creating a forum account (see below).
User accounts. When you register for the forum, we store your
chosen username, e-mail address, and password. Your password is never
stored in plain text. We use industry-standard encryption to
protect your password. This means that even the site administrator cannot see
or recover your original password. If you forget your password, it must be
reset — it cannot be retrieved. Your e-mail address is used solely for
account recovery and is never displayed publicly, sold, or shared with any
third party.
Cookies. This site uses three functional cookies.
items_per_page remembers your preferred number of results per page.
hmg-view-mode remembers whether you prefer the catalog as a table or a grid.
hmg-theme remembers your preferred theme (dark, light, Berserker or Ravendark).
None of them contain personal information, none are shared with third parties, and they all
expire after one year. No tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies are used.
Session cookie. If you sign in, a standard session cookie
(PHPSESSID) keeps you signed in. It holds no personal data itself — only a
random identifier — and it is deleted when you sign out or close your browser.
Embedded players. When you open a Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music,
or YouTube player, that content is loaded directly from the respective third-party
service. Their own privacy policies apply to any data they may collect.
Lyrics. Song lyrics are not reproduced on this site.
Lyrics links lead to Genius.com,
an independent third-party service. Heavyguide.no is not affiliated with Genius,
and Genius’ own terms of service and privacy policy apply when you visit their site.
