HeavyMusicGuide is a curated database of heavy metal and hard rock music, built by a Norwegian who has been obsessed with loud, heavy, and relentless music since childhood.
The site exists for one simple reason: there is an enormous amount of quality heavy music out there — from stadium-filling giants to obscure underground acts — and most of it never reaches the people who would love it. HeavyMusicGuide is an attempt to fix that, one song at a time.
The Golden Rule
Every band in the database is represented by exactly one song. Not a greatest-hits list, not an algorithm — a single, carefully chosen track that best represents what that band is about. The goal is discovery, not repetition.

- Reviews, ratings, and community features — coming continuously as the site grows. First priority is getting as many quality bands into the database as possible.
Who Is Behind This?
HeavyMusicGuide is a personal project by Kalimalenia, a Norwegian music fanatic with decades of listening behind them. No corporate backing, no algorithms, no filler — just genuine passion for heavy music and a desire to share it with anyone willing to listen.
