Our mission. HeavyGuide.no exists to document and
celebrate the diversity of heavy music from around the world —
its history, its bands, and its records.
Inclusion is not endorsement. Featuring a band or
musician in our catalogue is a statement about their music and its
place in that history — nothing more. It does not mean we
support, endorse, or share any artist’s personal views,
statements, or actions, however controversial they may be.
We are independent. HeavyGuide.no is an independent,
non-commercial reference. Like established music databases such as
Metal Archives and Discogs, we catalogue artists for their musical
and historical significance, and we leave it to each listener to
form their own opinion about the people behind the music.
